Getting Contracted

Please read the following before getting started. Complete these steps to fully ensure that the contracting process goes smoothly. If you run into any issues, email contracting@universalwealth.com or submit a support request ticket.

Before you begin contracting or submitting business, you must complete all required training and have an active E&O policy in place. Without these, you won’t be eligible for contracting.

Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance — must be current and in good standing (purchase here if needed)

Newly Licensed Agents

Complete the following courses:


  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Course
  • Initial 8hr Annuity Training
  • Annuity Best Interest Training (required in most states —check your state’s guidelines)
  • 8-Hour Long-Term Care (LTC) Training — if health licensed
  • Only in California Non-Term Life Insurance Sales Training — (Required for anyone licensed on or after Jan 1st, 2024. Agents licensed before this are NOT required to complete this course.)

These course hours count toward your continuing education hours for license renewal.


Experience/Season Licensed Agents

Complete or renew these courses if they’re missing or expired. Keeping your documentation current helps avoid delays in contracting and application submissions. Check your State's Requirements to make sure you complete the correct continued education course(s). Click Here for more information.

  • Anti-Money Laundering Course (Required every two years)
  • 4-hour Suitability & Best Interest in Annuity Transactions training
  • 4-hour or 8-hour LTC Refresher course every renewal period —check your state’s guidelines

You’ll need to create separate SureLC accounts for both Quantum and Universal Wealth, as each operates under its own contracting instance within the platform. You may use the same email address for both accounts, but a unique password is required for each.


To avoid confusion, we recommend securely noting your login credentials. You can confirm which instance you’re accessing by checking the company name displayed at the top of the SureLC dashboard.

Note that some providers have a JIT(Just-in Time) policies, which means that they will not appoint you or allow you to contract with them until you are ready to submit applications.

Carrier Contracting Instructions

Follow these detailed instructions on how to get contracted with our preferred Life and Annuity carriers. Carrier appointments are essential for submitting business and receiving commissions.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE | UNIVERSAL WEALTH (LIFE)

  1. Click Here
  2. Click Register New Account & complete personal info
  3. Connect with CE & Course Providers
  4. Under CE & Training
  5. Click Add New accounts
  6. Link your CE provider account (Helps to be currently signed in to the CE provider)
  7. Click Requests
  8. Apply for F&G Life and NLG (Note: Nationwide Peak 10 is JIT (Just-in Time), which means that you will not be appointed you until you are ready to submit business.)
  • Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) - Life Only
  • National Life Group (NLG) - Life & Annuity
  • Nationwide (AmerilLife) - Peak 10 Fixed Indexed Annuity ONLY
  • Broker Dealer Appointment - Independently through your BGA

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE | QUANTUM (ANNUITIES)

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE | CRUMP (LIFE)

  1. Submit a Support Request via your UW back office (requests will not be processed without ALL documents)
  2. Issue: Provider or Contracting
  3. Description: "Crump Contracting Request"
  4. Upload Documents:
  5. Download the Crump Producer Agreement (Complete page 1 & wet sign or e-sign & date page 8)
  6. Current E&O Certificate
  7. Resident Insurance License
  8. Allow 7-10 business days for Crump to process the request and send portal login information
  9. Register New SureLC Account with Crump
  10. Login the Crump Agent Portal
  11. Click Get Contracted under Quick Links
  12. Create Your SureLC Account (If you already have a SureLC with another IMO your data will transfer automatically)
  13. Do NOT change the affiliation
  14. Click Requests
  15. Apply for ONLY for these carriers
  16. Allianz Life Ins Co of NorthAmerica
  17. Banner Life
  18. Symetra Life Ins Co
  19. United of Omaha

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE | AFLAC (FINAL EXPENSE)

  1. Submit a Support Request via your UW back office
  2. Issue: Provider or Contracting
  3. Description Box: Include "Aflac Contracting Request", your legal name, phone number (numbers only) & preferred email address
  4. You will receive an email with the application within 1 business day with the subject: Your request to be appointed with Aflac Products
  5. Check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox
  6. Complete application; make sure to complete the application in one sitting, do not start the app unless you have time to complete it fully as this will ensure a smooth appointment process (~10-20 minutes)
  • Approval can take up to 10+ business days due to background check

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE | AMERICAN AMICABLE (FINAL EXPENSE)

  1. Click Here
  2. Complete the application as follows:
  3. Check the box at the bottom of the first page (do not enter bank info)
  4. Complete LIMRA AML course provided on application or attach LIMRA AML certificate if already completed
  5. Complete application; make sure to complete the application in one sitting, do not start the app unless you have time to complete it fully as this will ensure a smooth appointment process (~10-20 minutes)
  • Approval can take up to 10+ business days due to background check
